• Check back here later in the year for our opening hours in 2018.

That’s it for another year!

Happy New Year to all our Grange Farm Christmas Barn customers.

The Christmas Barn will open again in November 2018. Keep a watch here for more details.

Grange Farm is a 750-acre family-run farm set in the village of Thorpe Langton in heart of the Welland Valley, just three miles from the town of Market Harborough.

It’s a mixed farm growing cereal crops, potatoes and raising cattle. We also grow a wide variety of grasses used in baled hay, haylage and straw, which we retail throughout the year. But best of all, we plant and grow five different kinds of Christmas tree, right here in our own farm fields. You can see some of the trees from the Christmas Barn car park.

Oh, by the way, there’s plenty of parking space at the Christmas Barn and it’s free.

Happy New Year.

We wish you all the best for 2018.

And of course, we look forward to seeing you again in the run-up to Christmas this year!

Christmas At The Barn

At the farm we have a 15-acre plantation of Christmas Trees. We have been selling these, our own home-grown trees, for over 25 years. So we really can pride ourselves on providing our customers with a fresh, high quality, locally grown tree. You won’t find better.

Visiting Grange Farm Christmas Barn is a magical experience for everyone. It’s where your Christmas begins, whether you’re choosing your tree, browsing in our Christmas Decorations Barn or sampling a selection of the Langton Brewery’s finest ales which, incidentally, are also brewed on the farm. And don’t forget to pay a special visit to Santa Claus in his grotto to make it a magical trip for the children too.

Cake Ladies Go Undercover

This year the Compton & Kennedy Cake Ladies are indoors. Well, 'indoors' is a bit of an exaggeration - they're undercover (as in they have a roof over their heads. They're not moonlighting for MI6). We've tucked the ladies' cosy caravan into the barn right next door to the main Christmas Barn, and they have a seating area too. They

One Down, 27 to Go

Our first day was a great success. Nobody expected otherwise. A steady stream of visitors, eager to stock up with Christmas goodies early, had the pick of our huge range of decorations and accessories. Several dozen of our fresh trees also found themselves heading to new homes. It was a bright and crisp start to the season - and got

What Carbon Footprint?

We must surely have one of the smallest carbon footprints of any Christmas Tree supplier? You can see our trees growing in the fields from the Christmas Barn car park. No need for long-distance transportation here - Farmer Jim Mount and his team of rather powerfully-built elves will, as often as not, simply carry the newly-cut trees from the field to the

Meet Dorcas and her Friends

There's so much more than fresh trees, decorations and Christmas goodies at the Barn. If you like animals, you can see Elvis the Eagle Owl at weekends, but Dorcas the donkey and her friends the sheep are always here. It's almost a living nativity scene! Don't forget to say hello to Dorcas when you visit.

Elvis is in the Building

Yes, that's right: Elvis will be at the Christmas Barn every weekend during December. And no, it's not a dubious tribute act straight from Vegas - Elvis is an adorable and friendly Eagle Owl who will be only too pleased to meet you. Come and make his acquaintance.
